AkashicPay

This is the main service, exposing an API for interacting with the Akashic System. Via this service, transaction can be initiated on the chain, accounts created and recovered.

This API is to be used as a payment gateway for B-to-B settlement, as we encourage developers to integrate this platform into their business flow processes. All fund-manipulating requests to this endpoint are accompanied by an OTK that is under full control of the user.

OTK​

All authorisation of fund manipulation for a particular wallet is done via a One Time Key (OTK), that belongs and is managed fully by the user. The OTK triggers the process of assembling the private key, from its distributed parts across the Akashic System nodes.

With traditional cryptocurrency wallets, this private key is either fully owned by exchange that the wallet is registered on or resides on a users machine, suffering from the possibility of compromised via an attack in single location.

  • Currently the OTKs sits on our server for testing purposes for testing purposes (known as eOTKs), but will be eventually handed over to the user for full control once the system goes into production.
